Prof. Plum is a panicky scientist. He invents a poison which he used to kill his wife (Mr. Boddy's daughter) via a freak accident, and which everyone steals to try to kill everyone else with during the course of the VCR Game. Plum accompanies Green in blackmailing the other guests with Mrs. White's diary. However, the plan backfires when their secrets are also revealed. In the VCR Mystery Game, Professor Plum is played by Jack Neary. |

Another unique character, Plum plays the absent-minded professor who would forget his head if it wasn't screwed on. In one chapter, he invents a cloning device which he accidentally uses to clone Mrs. Peacock. After he does this, Plum forgets how to make the cloning machine reverse it. During that time, the guests grow to detest Plum — until White discovers how to tell the true Mrs. Peacock from the clones. |
